These general terms and conditions apply to the not-for-profit organisation MOOF called the Brussels Comics Figurines Museum, whose registered office is located at Rue du Marché aux herbes, 1000 Brussels, registered under company number BE08217370821.
GENERAL All visitors to the Museum are subject to these general terms and conditions of sale from the time of payment of the admission fee and/or for holders of conditional or complimentary admission.
2. ENTRANCE TICKETS
Article 1. Purchase of tickets : Admission tickets may be purchased at the entrance or at the museum's partner sites. Article 2. Admission prices: The museum informs visitors of its admission prices via its website and at the museum entrance. The museum cannot be held responsible for any erroneous publication of admission prices by third parties. Article 3. Discount on the admission price: A visitor may receive a discount on the admission price if he or she meets the applicable conditions. Museum staff may ask for identification or supporting documentation to verify the reduced admission fee. If the visitor is unable to produce a document or if the supporting document is invalid, the visitor will be charged the normal admission price.
Article 4. Refunds or compensation: A visitor who has purchased an admission ticket is not entitled to a refund. Once purchased, the admission ticket cannot be exchanged or refunded, in the event of purchase on a partner site, it is with the latter that reference must be made to its conditions.
3. OPENING HOURS
Article 1. Opening hours: The museum publishes its opening hours on its own website or on the usual social networks. The museum reserves the right to change these opening times without any refund being given to visitors who have already purchased their admission tickets (a later date may be offered, depending on the case). The museum declines all responsibility in the event of erroneous publication of timetables by third parties. The museum must be closed by 6.00 p.m. to ensure security, and the last authorised visit will be at 5.15 p.m. Visitors are asked to leave the premises by 5.50 p.m. at the latest.
4.VISITS
Article 1. Behaviour : Visitors must behave inside the museum in accordance with public order standards and these regulations, always complying with the instructions of museum staff. Failure to do so may result in the visitor being refused access without being entitled to a refund of the admission fee. Behaviour that is aggressive, alcoholic and/or presents an obvious risk to the public or the museum's collection may result in refusal of access or be grounds for expulsion.
Article 2. Responsibility for minors: Parents or guardians of minors are responsible for their children's behaviour. As part of organised group visits, group leaders are responsible for the behaviour of minors. It is strictly forbidden to shout, run or cross protected areas within the museum. Children under the age of 15 must be accompanied by an adult when visiting the museum. Any damage, tagging or theft will be subject to compensation from the museum.
Article3. Handbag/backpack/personal items: The museum area is accessible with small rucksacks and pushchairs. Large rucksacks or other luggage may, if necessary, be left at reception at the discretion of museum staff and at the sole risk of visitors. As there are no dedicated cloakrooms or lockers, the Museum declines all responsibility for damage, loss or theft of objects left or forgotten by visitors.
Article 4. Bag inspection: Museum staff may ask to inspect a visitor's bag for security reasons or if there is any suspicion of theft or damage in the museum.
Article 5. Food : It is forbidden to eat or drink in the museum area.
Article 6. Animals : Pets are allowed subject to prior conditions, with the exception of assistance dogs which are automatically accepted.
5.LIABILITY AND FORCE MAJEURE
Article 1. Liability: The Museum accepts no liability for injury to a visitor, loss of or damage to a visitor's property, except in the case of intentional injury or gross negligence attributable to the Museum. Damage or injury shall be indemnified up to the amount insured by the museum or the amount for which it ought reasonably to be insured.
Article 2. Force majeure : - Closure of the Galerie Horta - Gare : The Museum can never be held responsible for failures due to force majeure and will not be entitled to reimbursement or compensation. As the Museum is located within the Central Station, we must comply with any injunction issued by the Central Station or the Horta Gallery security service.
